How To Make Quick + Easy Almond Butter
A quick and healthy way to enjoy nut butter. This will ensure its natural and consists of only the necessary ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt optional/to taste
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract/honey/agave optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit. Lay out the cup of almonds onto a baking sheet and toast for ~10 minutes (stir at 5 mins).
- Once the almonds are toasted, leave them be until warm. Then put the almonds into a food processor. Blend until creamy at high speed. Note: The process will go from needing to pause and scrape down the sides to creamy, I promise! Be patient.
- Once the almond butter is creamy, add any additions to your liking. I recommend tasting as you go. I’ve once made the mistake of adding too much salt. Reminder: We can always add more but cannot remove.
- After the additions are blended to your liking, put the almond butter into a vessel of your choice. Enjoy this for up to ~2 weeks.
